Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative word of God revealed to humans and inspired by God.  2 Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 15:4

In Scripture, God reveals Himself as the living and one true God existing eternally as a Trinity of persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Hebrews 1:3, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Matthew 28:19-20a

God created man then woman in His own image. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience, the consequence of sin was spiritual and physical death resulting in a sinful nature of all mankind to follow.  Genesis 1:26, Romans 3:22-24

The only Mediator between God and man is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. 1 Timothy 2:5-6 , Matthew 1:20-21, John 3:16

Jesus Christ was crucified, suffered then died on the cross as payment in full for the “sin debt” of mankind. He was buried then arose on the third day in fulfillment of the Scriptures and is seated at the right hand of the Father where he serves as mediator between God and man. Hebrews 2:17, Mark 16:19, Hebrews 1:3, 1 Timothy 2:5-6

Man is destined to an eternal death unless he is ‘born again’ by his heartfelt repentance of sin and confession that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. From that moment on man becomes a child of God and co-heir with Christ. It is through faith in which man may enter the Kingdom of Heaven and have eternal life! Romans 6:23, 1 John 1:9, Romans 8:12-17, Romans 10:9-10, John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-10

Upon salvation, God, by His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit, commissions believers to go and share the good news about the coming Kingdom of Christ. When we truly accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we are convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit and we grow in grace and knowledge into the likeness of Christ through repentance. We should exhibit the fruits of the Holy Spirit that Jesus Christ himself exemplified and mature in our Faith. Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 11:23, Ephesians 4:15, 2 Peter 3:18, Galatians 5:22

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus Christ will one day come back to earth to judge the living and the dead.  He will then reign in eternity. Acts 10:42, 1 Peter 4:5, 2 Timothy 4:1-2, Revelation 11:15b
